Crochet Mood Blanket 2014 - June Square - by Pukado Free Pattern

End of the month again, I’m up to date with my blanket! And whipped up a new square to make in June. It’s a flowery one again and a bit more open. Made again with Stylecraft acrylic yarn and hook size 4.5mm

But for the pattern I will be doing it a bit different. This square would be lovely with multiple colors, therefore I will be making the pictures of this pattern with vibrant colors from Phildar Phil No4 and hook size 3.5mm. Just to show you how pretty it can be with multiple colors.

I will join each row with an invisible join and weave in the ends.

Supplies

Yarn
2014-05-13 09.36.50.jpg

You can use any yarn you would like, The chunkier the yarn, the bigger the doll will be.

For the doll in this pattern I will use Phildar Coton 3 in 4 colors

Dress - Piscine
- Rosee
- Phildar Sunset Silver
(You can use another contrasting color instead of the silver, just make sure it’s the same weight as your coton)
Face and Hands - Perle
Hair - Noir

Hook size 2.5mm

Scissors
Yarn needle
Stitch Markers

I have made another set as well with Drops Viscose. This will give you a nice soft and shiny dress. I used the same hook size. See image on last page.

This pattern is worked in rows. I use my Invisible Seam Technique to join the rows where I can, otherwise I will CH1 or CH2 to start a row and SLST to the first ST again to close the row . But you can use any way of joining you prefer.
